Sunbird Marina

February 9 2014

A new expansion of Eden is open now called The Sunbird Marina,  located on the Western border of Blake Sea, it is a private marina with housing and boat moorage.

The entire facility was built and scripted by Dengo Pimpernel, one of our Eden Resort Officers and will be managed by him as well.

This is quite a unique idea to let affordable houses along with private berths for those who want a holiday home on top of having a private island somewhere else.  For 220L a week tenants will get a slip, an apartment and 110 prims, enabling occupants to decorate their homes and moor a boat.  The marina, along with any  future projects in this area will be advertised as Blake Sea part of Eden.  This marina is the first managed outpost of Eden on Blake Sea.

One of the oldest nautical pubs in SL – The Blue Pelican – has become part of the marina project and is connected with the marina by a retractable footbridge.
The marina itself has direct access to Blake Sea and is protected from the ocean by a bridge and a lock, both operated by the marina residents only.

The marina houses will come especially handy to those Edennauts who want a holiday home and a place to moor their boat should they wish to sail in Blake  Sea.  Also……nudity is welcome, so Edennauts can feel at home.
Topless Cruises are started and/or finished in the harbor next to the marina followed by boozy parties in The Blue Pelican.

The residents’ security and safety is guarded by an established SLCG substation.
Major TrYC-SYC regattas and cruise charts are lined up along the marina sim.

The Sunbird Marina is now open for rentals, so be sure to check it out and get your own little piece of Eden on the Blake Sea.
